Mr. and Mrs. Deadwalker are life-size, skeleton-faced, and dressed to kill in coordinating satin ensembles. Their gnarled faces and wicked attire will make your guests scream. And they're so well matched; you won't be able to resist having both. Mr. Deadwalker wears a black suit with a silver vest and tie and black felt top hat. Mrs. Deadwalker is draped in a silver satin Victorian gown, accented with black satin and lace and a matching silver bonnet.

I purchased the Deadwalker couple and very happy to receive a very detailed pair of zombies. Mrs. Deadwalker has a hoop skirt that fills out her dress - nice touch! If there was one drawback is that they totally "forgot" to finish Mr. Deadwalker as his feet are in plain sight. He has no legs or feet or shoes - just a pair of silky pants blowing in the wind. I was able to fill the legs with some of the packing materials and will look for a pair of boy's dress shoes to finish the outfit. It's such an obvious design blunder but I guess they want you to pose him behind a tombstone. Also the pair is a little smaller than I envisioned but acceptable nonetheless.

Cons: not shoes or feet!

I loved this Martha Stewart wreath project from last year's October issue and was excited not to have to make it myself. Unfortunately the vibrating mechanism was not well-proportioned to the wreath. A little moss and some extra snakes may hide it and add needed bulk. I ultimately removed the vibrating mechanism, added a battery led light string, and put it on my front door – it looks great even without the "animation". I hope Grandin Road will continue to develop this product for next year!!!

I love the Medusa bust and it works exactly as described. With three different phrases and the motion/sound detector, it's a real blast to see people jump when they see it. I do wish that these animated decorations had a way to adjust the sound. Sometimes it fun just to get the visual without the loud squawking! Also, the size is somewhat smaller than I expected – I probably should have read the specs. Nonetheless, it fits perfectly on the mantle and stands out.

I own a closet full of LED candles and these by far are the best available. The best part is that they turn off/on by pushing the top of the flame – you don't have to remove them from fixtures, twist, or turn them upside down! Why has no one else thought about this? Sizing these for fixtures is tricky since they're thicker than a taper candle but thinner than a votive. And storing these in a hot attic is not good idea since they have a real wax overlay that melts and breaks.
Pros: Appearance, Quality, easy on/off, real wax overlay, great flicker
Cons: will melt/warp in a hot attic, odd size for many fixtures

what diameter is the candle base?
The diameter of the candle itself is about 1 1/8 inches. It does not fit in standard taper candle holders as is – BUT – there is a plastic adapter included than is inserted into the bottom of the candle. This adapter will help the candle rest upright "above" the rim of a taper opening. Not ideal but these are the best Halloween candles I could find. And they can be turned off and off by pressing down on the flame tip – you don't have to remove them from candleholders.
